Paula Deen’s Cheese Noodles for 315 calories per serving

I don’t know about you guys, but for me, I salivate over everything Paula Deen makes.  If it has her name on it, I know it will be GOOD.  She mentioned these noodles on her tv show. These cheese noodles were apparently the start of her business.  With $20 to her name, she began making these noodles and selling them to people at local businesses.  (By the way, wouldn’t it be so awesome if Paula Deen came to your workplace and sold you lunch??  How much would you pay for that!?!)

Ingredients serving Calories
1 cup 2% cottage cheese 1/2 c = 80 180  
1 c light sour cream 2 Tbs = 40 320  
3 oz. chopped onion 1 oz. = 10 30  
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 0 0  
sprinkle garlic powder 0 0  
sprinkle salt 0 0  
6 oz. very fine egg noodles 2 oz. = 210 630  
3 Tbs grated parmesan cheese 1 tsp = 10 90  
  Total calories = 1250  
  1/4 pan = 313  

 1) Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

2) Grease an 8” x 8” square pan.

3) Cook noodles according to package directions.

4) Mix together cottage cheese, sour cream, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and salt.  Then mix in the noodles.

5) Pour noodles into the greased pan.  Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

6) Cover and bake for 30 minutes.  Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

7) Enjoy!
